Formula Drift M’sia 2011: Top 32 Qualifying Results (Provisional)

To say that today’s qualifying at Formula Drift Malaysia was eventful is an understatement. It was running fine with the first qualifying run until the dark clouds that had gathered unleashed its pent-up rain on us at Dataran Merdeka.

Dika CH was the first one out in the wet conditions and met with an unfortunate accident at the first clipping point. The rain then started to pour heavier thereafter so the competition was paused until the skies cleared. The event resumed and we saw more killer runs from Daigo Saito, Manabu Orido and D Kohkae – videos soon!

Below are the provisional Top 32 qualifying results – why provisional?

Because Dika CH will be doing his two qualifying runs first thing tomorrow morning and he might be slotted into the Top 32 accordingly, depending on his score.

Detailed qualifying report with photos and videos coming your way soon!
